Westpac banking through post offices

POAAL welcomes today’s official announcement of the partnership between Australia Post and Westpac which will allow the bank’s customers to access banking services across the entire post office network, including over 2900 Licensed Post Offices.More banking transactions through post offices means more convenience for customers, along with more revenue for Licensees. Westpac joins the Commonwealth Bank and other banks as part of Australia Post’s banking network.Many Licensed Post Offices are located in country and remote areas, making the LPO network the most convenient option for customers to do their banking. This is good news for Westpac customers who live outside major cities and who find it difficult to get to a bank branch. About half of all LPOs are located in country Australia, offering friendly service to their local customers.
