Victorian Licensees networking at the POAAL meeting in Fitzroy[/caption]Licensees from around Melbourne and surrounds gathered in Fitzroy on 30 October for a stimulating POAAL Victorian Branch meeting. POAAL's Victorian Branch Chairman Des Burns hosted the event. There was plenty of networking before and after the meeting.Insurance brokers Network Insurance Group shared some tips with Licensees, including:

• Theft coverage under Business Pack insurance
• Workers Compensation
• Management Liability insurance
• Network Insurance Group's claims management capabilities

Jocelyn Wilson from Premier Business Consultants then spoke on how to prepare a business for sale. Licensees had lots of questions for Jocelyn and her team, including the state of the market, in-conjunction businesses, key documents that need to be prepared before putting a business up for sale, and more. Jocelyn also covered topics including:

• Retail leases
• POMS
• Cash sales
• Presentation of the business
• Lending
