US postie shot in the leg

A postal delivery officer in Chicago, USA, has been shot in the leg by a resident angry that mail was being delivered late, according to reports.The postie was delivering mail at around 6:30pm when he was shot in the thigh.In the USA, posties usually finish work at 5pm, however the postie in question was working late because of a public holiday on Monday and heavier than normal mail volumes.
