TNT trials electric trucks in UK

TNT is soon to commence a trial using 7.5-tonne electric trucks in London.The trucks are produced by Smith Electric Vehicles, a UK-based electric vehicle manufacturer. TNT will be trialling the Newton, which can travel at up to 50mph and has a range of 130 miles.More information on the use of electric vehicles in the post and logistics industry will be in the next edition of Postal News, POAAL's exclusive member magazine.
