POAAL's Chris Dancer (left) presenting Cynthia with a plaque and flowers in honour of her service to her community[/caption]Licensees discussed some topical issues, including Australia Post’s inexcusable refusal to pay MSP to Licensees who meet the criteria for this payment.AP's supply of 2014 issue Christmas stamps to LPOs was a hot topic. Customers have been making pointed remarks or refusing to take “old” stamps.AP has been encouraging delivery personnel to leave parcels at LPOs instead of attempting delivery. Australia Post has not been adhering to the "delivery as addressed" policy, in particular for parcels addressed to the street address of PO Box holders.AP in Tasmania has been failing to notify LPOs when mail contracts are coming up for tender, thus causing many Licensees to lose the opportunity to increase their income. POAAL's Tasmanian Branch is hot on this issue and will be following up with Australia Post.
