Workplace relations, risk management and finance options were some of the major topics discussed at POAAL's Business Seminar in Sydney in October.[caption id="attachment_5615" align="alignleft" width="398"]

He highlighted the importance of complying with industrial relations legislation and the importance of being familiar with the award that applies to staff.Cameron Bott from insurance brokers GWS Network explained some of the risk management tools available to Licensees, including Management Liability insurance.Damian Burgess from business brokers ILW Wollermann spoke about preparing a business for sale, and finance specialist Tor Bowen spoke about finance options for purchasing and refinancing a business.There was also a trade display featuring Australian Photographic Engineering.POAAL will be holding more Business Seminars around Australia in the coming months.
