Bob Chizzoniti with some of the Licensees at the POAAL meeting in Nambour (Sunshine Coast)[/caption]POAAL's Bob Chizzoniti hosted a meeting for Licensees on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Licensees gave Bob a warm reception and were pleased to discuss issues of importance to them.Bob gave Licensees an overview of some of the global trends in the postal industry, including the impact of technology and competition, particularly in the parcels business.Some of the issues raised by Licensees included:

  • Postpak satchel design
  • Colours on PostLink and issues for people who are red/green colourblind
  • OHS issues
  • MyPost and the impact on over-the-counter business
  • Stock supply
  • Australia Post "authorised holiday"

Bob also spoke on transfer of business and security issues.Licensees at the meeting have asked POAAL to hold more meetings in the area - perhaps next time on LiPOMS.
