This week Shadow Minister for Small Business, Bruce Billson, spoke at a forum in Melbourne regarding the issues facing small business owners and how the Coalition plans to respond to those issues.Mr Billson spoke about the Coalition's plan to extend unfair contract provisions to include small business owners. Currently, these unfair contract laws protect only consumers.[caption id="attachment_5813" align="alignnone" width="398"]

Mr Billson acknowledged the point previously made by POAAL that Licensees are unable to pass on to consumers increases in operating costs arising from the Carbon Tax to consumers.POAAL is in regular contact with Mr Billson's office, bringing to his attention issues facing Licensees and Contractors - small business owners in the postal sector.
