Bruce Billson, the Shadow Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, has accepted our invitation to attend POAAL's Victorian Branch meeting in Melbourne on 14 August.The Shadow Minister (pictured at left), whose shadow portfolio includes Australia Post, will make a presentation and will then take questions from members.Licensees and Mail & Parcel Contractors are invited to attend.Date: Thursday 14 August, 2008Time: 7:15pm for 7:30pm sharpVenue: Bentleigh Club, Yawla St, Bentleigh (Melway Ref 68 B11)A Mail & Parcel Contractor meeting will precede Mr Billson's presentation. There will also be a discussion of local and national LPO issues following Mr Billson's presentation.This meeting is free to 2008/09 financial POAAL members. A charge of $33 will apply to unfinancial POAAL members.
