Royal Mail to release Star Wars stamps

The UK's Royal Mail has announced it will publish a set of 18 Star Wars stamps in October to celebrate the British expertise behind the Star Wars movies.The stamps are illustrated by British artist Malcolm Tween and feature nine main characters from the first six Star Wars films and three from the forthcoming film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.The font used in the ‘1^ST’ value of the stamps will replicate that of the iconic typeface used for the films.Royal Mail will also issue a Miniature Sheet of six stamps featuring detailed illustrations of six iconic Star Wars vehicles.A clever way to boost philatelic sales!
