A US$50,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot a US postal carrier last week.The shooting took place in Chicago. The postie was delivering mail at about 6:30pm when he was shot in the thigh. The postie was rushed to hospital and has now been released and is recovering from his injuries.The US Postal Inspection Service, which handles the law enforcement side of the US Postal Service, is now offering a reward of up to US$50,000 for information leading to the arrest of the shooter
