Postage increase in France

Postage prices in France will increase by an average 1.6% from 1 July 2010.La Poste has said that this increase will enable it to continue to finance the universal postal service. Standard letter prices will increase from €0.56 to €0.58.On 1 March 2010, La Poste became a public limited company with 100% publicly-owned shares. La Poste delivers mail six days per week to every delivery point in one of the largest delivery areas in Europe.
