Post Danmark acquires cargo operator

Australia Post isn't the only national postal group acquiring cargo and courier companies! In a move similar to AP's acquisitions of Star Track Express and smaller courier companies, Post Danmark (the Danish postal group) has agreed to purchase 51% of Transportgruppen.This new arrangement would enable Post Danmark to offer its customers a total solution including courier shipments, parcels and mixed cargo of all sizes.Post Danmark will have access to Transportgruppen's national distribution network, including major and regional cargo terminals.
