POAAL’s submission to ACCC on postage increase

POAAL has made a submission to the ACCC in response to Australia Post's application for an increase in the BPR. POAAL supports Australia Post's application.The ACCC published an issues paper in August inviting interested parties to comment on Australia Post's application.All submissions made to the ACCC can be downloaded from the ACCC website.Australia Post has applied to increase the BPR by five cents to 60c. Australia Post also proposes to increase other Ordinary Large Letter prices to align to multiples of the BPR, as well as increases to prepaid envelopes and seasonal greeting cards and an average increase to PreSort prices of 7.2%.
