POAAL meets with Small Business Minister

This week POAAL's Bob Chizzoniti met with Craig Laundy, the Minister for Small and Family Business.The Minister has a business background, and understands many of the practical issues facing small business owners. The discussion focused on a range of small business issues that affect Licensees and Mail Contractors, including:

• Unfair contract terms protections
• High rent costs
• Clearways and the impact on foot traffic
• How technology is changing retail
• Workplace laws

It was a positive meeting, and we look forward to further discussions with the Minister on vital issues affecting small business owners in the postal sector.
