NZ posties get new uniforms

NZ Post has launched new high visibility and breathable postie uniforms."The new uniform features a choice of three layers to give Posties the flexibility they need to sort and deliver the mail efficiently and in comfort no matter where they are working or what the elements throw at them. It was designed with Posties and includes some of the features they wanted," said Postal Services chief executive Peter Fenton.Fabric giving a high level of ultra violet protection has also been incorporated into the shirt material and collars.The new design will be introduced progressively to 2,300 Posties and 535 Rural Post contractors. It is the first uniform redesign in nine years.The uniforms were made by Profile Ltd, a subsidiary of EziBuy.
