New Australia Post Director, Michael D’Ascenzo[/caption]New appointments to the Australia Post board were announced recently.Australia Post's shareholder Ministers, Senator Stephen Conroy (Minister for Communications) and Senator Penny Wong (Minister for Finance), made a joint statement announcing the appointment of Michael D’Ascenzo to the board.Mr D’Ascenzo was Commissioner of Taxation between 2006 to 2012.Mr Brendan Fleiter, currently a Director on the Board, has been appointed as Deputy Chairman until 29 May 2017, and the Ms Trish White has been reappointed as a Director until 7 July 2016.
