Monitoring consignment temperatures

A new system has been developed that uses RFID technology to monitor temperatures of shipments.DHL has partnered with other companies, including a pharmaceutical company, to develop a syystem that will allow the location and temperatures of pharmaceutical shipments to be monitored in real time.During the journey, if the temperature of the shipment changes and goes outside the desired temperature range, an alert message is sent via SMS or email so that appropriate action can be taken.
