Melbourne Licensee meeting

Bob Chizzoniti's presentation on CEPOS was the highlight of POAAL's Licensee meeting held in Melbourne last night.Bob discussed many aspects of CEPOS, including new PIN pad functionality, banking transactions, bulk billpay transactions, outlet messaging and consistency of transactions.Cameron Bott from insurance brokers GWS Network discussed how Licensees can protect themselves through management liability insurance. He outlined some of the highlights of the management liability insurance package that GWS Network has put together for Licensees.There was also a discussion on a range of other issues, including:

• New national OHS legislation and the implications for Licensees;
• Carded articles;
• PDTs;
• Delivery of overweight and oversize parcels;
• Extended opening hours;
• Delivery of parcels to PO Boxes;
• AaE;
• Western Union transactions (including reversals);
• Extended Christmas trading;
• Digital MailBox; and
• New POAAL member benefits.
