POAAL WA Chairman Phil Foo recently met with the WA Small Business Commissioner, David Eaton, and senior representatives from the WA Small Business Development Corporation.
Licensed Post Offices are small businesses, and it was valuable to meet with the WA SBDC to discuss some of the services available to small business owners in WA.
Some of the services available to small business owners include assistance setting up a website, creating a business plan, liaising with the ATO, and resolving issues with landlords.
The meeting was also an opportunity for POAAL to promote how LPOs can help other small businesses, especially small businesses that sell online such as eBay sellers, start-ups, and small online retailers. POAAL wants to see more SMEs encouraged to use their local LPOs as their main point of contact for accessing Australia Post’s services.
POAAL’s WA Branch looks forward to working more with the WA SBDC in the future to help Licensees grow their LPO and in-conjunction businesses.
