Meeting with Shadow Minister

POAAL’s Bob Chizzoniti today met with David Coleman MP, the Shadow Minister for Communications.

Some of the topics discussed included:

• Progress of reform of the letters service, including alternate-day delivery of regular letters
• The importance of PO Boxes to customers and Licensees
• Operational matters facing metro and rural LPOs
• Australia Post's new POST+ point-of-sale system

The Shadow Minister has a good appreciation of post office and delivery matters, and POAAL will continue to provide him with briefings and information on important issues for POAAL members.
