Licensee meeting in Perth

John Fisher and Robert Angriawan from POAAL's WA Branch Committee[/caption]POAAL's Bob Chizzoniti was the guest speaker at the POAAL Licensee meeting held in Perth this afternoon. Licensees enjoyed a meal together and then a wide-ranging discussion of matters important to Licensees. Topics discussed included:

  • New LiPOMS, set to be introduced in 2016. POAAL has been the driver behind the new and improved system, having been involved in detailed discussions with Australia Post from the very beginning.
  • The new StarTrack scanning procedures.
  • Passport photos being rejected by corporate staff.
  • Australia Post's PO Box system.
  • Competition in parcel delivery.
  • Overseas postal trends, including letter volumes and privatisation.
  • LPO security.
  • Occupational Health & Safety, including the OHS plans available to POAAL members.
