The woes with the PO Box system were detailed, noting issues at the counter as well as some customer complaints regarding online payments. Licensees gave their views on the new customs forms.Barcode scanning was a hot topic. All Licensees present reported experiencing problems with scanning not being done properly on delivery items.Other current topics discussed included:
Bob gave a presentation on trends affecting the future of the post office. Customers - in particular e-commerce customers - are demanding more and more when it comes to parcel delivery. Meanwhile, improvements in technology and communication are disrupting some of Australia Post's traditional business, such as letters.
