Late arrival of Express Post for delivery

A number of Contractors have noted a recent trend where Express Post mail is not ready for delivery when the Contractor is ready to leave to deliver on his/her contract. In many cases, the AP manager will call the Contractor and request that they return to the delivery centre (or mail centre or post office) to collect the Express Post mail for delivery.If AP is asking you to return to collect Express Post mail, and demanding that it be delivered before noon, then you should invoice AP for time and kilometres for a variation of the route.
