Hand held scanners in Europe

UPS, the international parcel delivery giant, has announced that it will be rolling out a new generation of hand-held computers to its drivers in Europe. The new computers feature GPS technology.The new system is lighter in weight than the technology it replaces. Its battery lasts an entire work day. More than 11,600 of the new hand-held devices will be deployed in Europe this year, and about 46,000 will be deployed by UPS globally.
