FedEx trials hybrid vehicles

FedEx is testing 10 hybrid electric vehicles on delivery routes in Italy and France.The hybrid vans are manufactured by Italian commercial vehicle manufacturer Iveco and will be trialled on routes between Milan and Turin. FedEx now has over 100 hybrid vehicles in service worldwide.In May last year Australia Post announced a trial of a hybrid diesel/electric powered delivery truck. Australia Post has yet to release the results of the trial.
