Australia Post’s EPOS banking and scanning systems have been largely restored after being down since late Saturday.The problem also affected Australia Post’s email system.The outage resulted from an EPOS upgrade. The total system crash calls into question Australia Post's testing regime.This has been a major inconvenience for customers and has cost Licensees business. Licensees are frustrated by having to spend the entire day explaining to customers why they can’t perform any online transactions.POAAL has written to Australia Post asking for compensation for Licensees.
