The Irish postal regulator, the Commission for Communications Regulator (ComReg) has published the findings of its 2006 postal surveys. An Post, the Irish national postal group, delivers over 750 million items each year.
Some of the findings of the surveys include:- About 85% of Ireland's domestic post is business mail
- Businesses in Ireland spend an average of €8019 per annum
- Up to 20% of businesses are opting to use other postal operators in addition to An Post
