DHL Germany has announced a new add-on service providing identity and age verification for its domestic parcels.It is anticipated that this service will be used by senders of valuable or sensitive goods.Upon delivery, the driver checks the recipient's ID against the information provided by the sender and record any relevant information in the hand-held scanner.
