Competition and Consumer Act booklet

The ACCC has revised one of its publications for small businesses, Small business and the CCA: your rights and responsibilities. The Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA), which was formerly the Trade Practices Act, is a national law that governs how all businesses in Australia must deal with their competitors, suppliers and customers.The booklet includes information for small business owners on matters such as:

• Consumer guarantees
• Sales practices
• Product safety
• Advertising
