Australia Post proposes basic postage rate increase

Australia Post has proposed an increase in the basic postage rate from $1.50 to $1.70, effective 1 July 2025.

The price for concession stamps and seasonal greeting stamps will not change.

Australia Post has also indicated that it proposes further price increases in July 2026 and July 2027.

The ACCC is seeking feedback on Australia Post's current proposal.
