AP uniforms for delivery contractors

As reported in the 2nd quarter 2005 edition of Postal News, AP has agreed to permit Mail Contractors to have access to AP uniforms.  POAAL has pushed for this for some time, supported by Federal MPs.

Contractors have noted the benefits of AP-branded uniforms.  The purchase of uniforms can be claimed as a tax deduction.  More importantly, it makes it easy for members of the public to identify Contractors as being part of the AP delivery network.

Delivery Contractors contribute to AP's good name by efficiently and promptly performing mail and parcel deliveries, so Contractors should take advantage of this. And of course by wearing AP-branded uniforms, Contractors will be continuing to reinforce the AP brand. Ask your AP manager (in writing if necessary) for an order form for AP-branded uniforms.
