POS technology for manual LPOs
Posted: October 8, 2011 at 3:23 pm
Out of Australia Post’s network of nearly 3000 LPOs, 464 do not have access to EPOS (Australia Post’s electronic point-of-sale network). Without EPOS, LPOs cannot offer their local community services such as: EFTPOS banking transactions; CBA debit card deposits/withdrawals; mobile phone top-ups; proof of identity transactions; and business banking. Carbon tax
Posted: August 15, 2011 at 5:40 pm
POAAL has made a submission to the Parliamentary Inquiry into the proposed carbon tax. POAAL holds concerns regarding the impact of the proposed Carbon Tax on the postal sector – in particular LPOs.
