POAAL’s 2011 Conference was held in Auckland, New Zealand at Easter. Licensees and Contractors from all States took part in what was a very friendly conference, with a good mix of business-centric and social events.

No cross-subsidy in Australia Post

The ACCC has issued its sixth report assessing cross-subsidy between the services provided by Australia Post, and has found that there is no evidence that Australia Post subsidises its competitive services with revenue from its reserved services.

Australia Post 2009/10 Annual Report

Australia Post’s 2009/2010 Annual Report was today tabled in Parliament. Australia Post reported a net profit of $89.5 million and total dividend payments of $79.1 million to the Federal Government.
