POAAL meets with Small Business Minister
Posted: April 5, 2018 at 12:03 pm
This week POAAL’s Bob Chizzoniti met with Craig Laundy, the Minister for Small and Family Business.
The Minister has a business background, and understands many of the practical issues facing small business owners. The discussion focused on a range of small business issues that affect Licensees and Mail Contractors, including:
- Unfair contract terms protections
- High rent costs
- Clearways and the impact on foot traffic
- How technology is changing retail
- Workplace laws
It was a positive meeting, and we look forward to further discussions with the Minister on vital issues affecting small business owners in the postal sector.
