Kings Transport goes electric
Posted: June 25, 2016 at 12:16 am
Australian transport company Kings Transport has announced that it will order nine electric vehicles from SEA Automotive.
SEA Automotive is an Australian electric vehicle manufacturer.
The order will include three each of SEA’s 15-tonne Volta model, 10-tonne Sturgeon truck and Musk light van.
According to a joint press release, Kings will work with its customers and SEA Automotive over the next 12 months to confirm the scale of the opportunity to replace, where appropriate, current vehicles in the company-owned fleet with electric vehicles.
Kings will also explore with its 1,500 contractors the possibility of simultaneously introducing electric vehicles into its contractor fleet.
