PO Box scanning fee
Posted: January 10, 2014 at 10:46 am
Good news! The LPO delivery scan fee is to be extended to Post Office Box and counter delivery barcoded carded articles effective 1 February 2014.
POAAL has successfully pushed for the LPO scanning fee to be extended to barcoded carded articles addressed to PO Boxes. The scan fee is also being extended to barcoded counter delivery items.
POAAL has achieved this for Licensees following ongoing discussions with Australia Post and advances in Australia Post’s systems allowing for PO Box delivery scans to be identified.
The payment will commence from 1 February 2014 and will be paid monthly in arrears.
Australia Post will issue instructions on scanning procedures to Licensees by the end of January.
Scanning reports for LPOs with EPOS will continue to be available through PostLink. Scanning reports for manual (FAP150) LPOs will now be sent to Licensees at the end of each month.
