Carding parcels to metro and suburban LPOs
Posted: November 16, 2009 at 11:37 pm
Australia Post has stated that it expects parcel volumes to continue to grow. This is putting some strain on the delivery and retail network.
What have you observed regarding parcel volumes? Are you carding more parcels now compared to one year or two years ago? What effect has SafeDrop had on carding? Do the LPOs where you card parcels have storage issues? Do you have issues with parking and unloading? How do you handle bulky parcels? Was there sufficient information in the tender documentation for your mail service regarding carded items?
POAAL is seeking Contractors’ input.
Please download and print this survey, complete it and fax it back to POAAL on 03 96544577. Or you can post it to the POAAL National Office, PO Box 190, CARLTON SOUTH VIC 3053.
