AUSTRAC attends Melbourne meeting

At the Victorian Branch meeting in Melbourne on 14 August 2008 we were pleased to welcome AUSTRAC representative David Mackey.
David’s presentation covered the background to the AML/CTF Act and the day-to-day implications for the Act in LPOs.
Licensees took the opportunity to ask many questions of David – his presentation didn’t finish until 10pm as a result of extensive questioning from Licensees.
David will be speaking at more POAAL meetings around Australia, including the Adelaide meeting on Sunday 24 August.
