Application for Increase in Basic Domestic Postage Rate

As previously advised, POAAL made a submission to the ACCC supporting Australia Post’s application for an increase in the basic postage rate of 50c.
The ACCC has now released its preliminary view and we can report that the ACCC supports the application for an increase.
POAAL will be making a further submission to the ACCC following the release of the its preliminary view.
The ACCC website contains Australia Post’s original application, the POAAL submission, Australia Post’s response and the ACCC Preliminary View.
